MEPcontent este acum și mai simplu de utilizat

MEPcontent.com a lansat astăzi o nouă versiune a website-ului. Principalele caracteristici ale noului website sunt un design mai curat și mai simplu, o experiență mai bună pentru utilizatori și un puternic motor de căutare pentru a căuta, selecta și descărca articole pentru proiecte BIM.

„MEPcontent este biblioteca BIM universal valabilă pentru inginerii MEP”, conform lui Edwin Schalk, Director de dezvoltare la Stabiplan. „Grație noului design, inginerii pot găsi și mai rapid articolele dorite. În plus, oferta largă de servicii destinate producătorilor le facilitează acestora posibilitatea de a furniza inginerilor articole 3D”.

Aspectul proaspăt și simplificat, combinat cu multitudinea de date referitoare la articole, cu funcțiile de căutare îmbunătățite și cu optimizarea pentru dispozitivele mobile ușurează găsirea și descărcarea articolelor de către utilizatori. Pentru a-i încuraja pe ingineri să intre în contact direct cu producătorii, au fost îmbunătățite și paginile de profil ale producătorilor.

Joi, 30 iunie, am difuzat webinarul MEPcontent pentru producători. Participanții au aflat cum îi poate ajuta portalul MEPcontent să ajungă la inginerii BIM din Europa. S-a discutat conversia datelor PIM în articole Revit / AutoCAD. Am prezentat în direct o demonstrație de utilizare într-un mediu BIM a articolelor generate. Suple, rapide și îmbogățite cu coduri GTIN, date comerciale, fișiere .pdf și alte date tehnice.

Utilizatorii de Stabicad pentru AutoCAD și Stabicad LT pot importa ctalogul actualizat cu ajutorul funcționalității de importare cataloage. Utilizatorii de Revit sunt sfătuiți să utilizeze recent actualizatul pachet de familii DYKA AIR, pentru a beneficia de cele mai noi funcționalități.

Succesvol event: Brink Climate Systems & MEPcontent

Toekomstgericht ontwerpen, bouwen en in elk seizoen op de juiste manier ventileren waren de thema’s tijdens het gecombineerde event met Brink Climate Systems en MEPcontent. Op 21 juni werden vanuit beide bedrijven diverse nieuwe ontwikkelingen en demonstraties gepresenteerd aan 25 deelnemers.

Rein Hoekstra, technisch commercieel adviseur, legde tijdens zijn presentatie de nadruk op het nieuwe ventileren met Renovent Sky. Deze familie levert hoge presentaties en rendement en is daarbij energiezuinig. Simon van de Kamp, eveneens technisch adviseur, lichtte toe hoe samenwerking tot betere systemen leidt en vertelde over de nieuwe BENG-norm. Niek Hessels, BIM modelleur en ontwerper bij Brink, sloot de presentatie van Brink af met een uitleg over hoe hun bedrijf is begonnen met BIM. Hij benadrukte dat het internationale karakter van MEPcontent erg belangrijk is voor Brink. “MEPcontent is een professionele partij”, aldus Niek Hessels.

Na een interessante rondleiding vertelde Charles Lekx over de nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen BIM zoals apps en 3D printing, maar ook aan welke normen je moet denken bij dataverwerking. Tijdens de Stabicad for Revit demonstratie lichtte Leo van der Kolk diverse handige tools toe zoals het snel oplossen van knooppunten, geïntegreerd berekenen en het logistieke proces in Stabicad. Bij Brink wordt het logistieke proces volledig gedaan via BIM data. Dit zorgt voor een hoge efficiency, de juiste producten kunnen snel worden besteld.

“Het was een zeer interessante middag, de combinatie van de techniek en kennis van Brink en de functies van MEPcontent resulteerden in een mooi concept”, aldus Charles Lekx. Ook Rein Hoekstra, technisch commercieel adviseur, is zeer tevreden: “Een rondleiding door ons bedrijf samen met de diversiteit aan presentaties over onze producten, BIM en MEPcontent gaf een meerwaarde voor de deelnemers. Dit is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!” 

Deze gecombineerde events tussen MEPcontent en fabrikanten rondom BIM blijken populair bij BIM-engineers. Daarom zullen er dit jaar nog meer volgen. Volg ons op onze social media kanalen om ook een event bij te wonen!

Mitsubishi Electric Europa a ales portalul MEPcontent.com drept platformă prin care să-și distribuie articolele 3D pentru inginerii MEP europeni. Mitsubishi Electric este lider de piață în furnizarea de soluții HVAC pentru răcirea, încălzirea, ventilarea și controlul clădirilor.

Astăzi Mitsubishi Electric își publică prima familie Revit pentru gama City Multi Air Conditioning, unitatea PUMY-P de aer condiționat, cu pompă de căldură. În următoarele săptămâni pe portalul MEPcontent.com va fi publicată întreaga gamă de produse Mitsubishi Electric.

Seminar ‘Stekerbaar installeren en BIM’ MEPcontent & Isolectra

Up-to-date raken met ontwikkelingen rondom stekerbaar installeren, een live demonstratie van de Stekerbaar plugin in Stabicad for Revit en netwerken met mede BIM-engineers. Het BIM-seminar, gehouden op 25 mei door MEPcontent en Isolectra in de nieuwe demonstratieruimte van Isolectra in Capelle a/d IJssel, was een nuttige bijeenkomst voor de ruim 30 deelnemers.

Casper Bontenbal lichtte tijdens zijn presentatie de voordelen van stekerbaar installeren ten opzichte van traditioneel installeren toe. Niet alleen levert stekerbaar installeren een aanzienlijke tijdsbesparing op, ook is het foutmarge kleiner en vallen de faalkosten over het gehele bouwproces veel lager uit. De deelnemers zijn ook bijgepraat over nieuwe reguleringen en de aangepaste NEN-normen.

Hoe de stekerbare installaties van Isolectra in een BIM-project getekend kunnen worden is duidelijk geworden tijdens de Stabicad for Revit demonstratie. Dankzij de Stekerbare module in het Stabicad pakket tekenen engineers eenvoudig complete installaties.

‘Het was een interessante middag, de deelnemers zijn geïnspireerd naar huis gegaan en hebben veel ideeën opgedaan hoe BIM toe te passen bij stekerbare installaties’ aldus Casper Bontenbal, medeorganisator en Manager Operations bij Isolectra.

Ook de deelnemers zelf waren enthousiast over het seminar: ‘Zeer interessante combi met Isolectra en stekerbaar installeren’ aldus één van engineers.

Omdat seminars georganiseerd door MEPcontent en fabrikanten rondom BIM populair blijken bij BIM-engineers, zullen er dit jaar nog meer volgen. Volg ons op de social media kanalen om ook een seminar bij te wonen!

MEPcontent meet-up: Engineer aan het woord

Op 26 maart organiseerde MEPcontent een meet-up sessie voor fabrikanten die in het teken stond van de BIM-praktijk. Content is niet meer weg te denken in de installatiebranche, maar hoe wordt content daadwerkelijk toegepast? Wat is nu goede content en welke eisen stellen BIM-engineers aan fabrikant specifieke content? Op deze en andere vragen werd ingegaan tijdens de sessie.

BIM in de praktijk
De ochtend werd afgetrapt door Victor Keeven, BIM-coördinator bij installatiebedrijf Giesbers & de Graaf en door MEPcontent sales engineer Charles Lekx. Samen demonstreerden zij hoe BIM er in de praktijk van de engineer uitziet. Voor de deelnemers is duidelijk geworden hoe goede 3D-content het ontwerpproces verbeterd en waarom het belangrijk is dat engineers over fabrikant specifieke content beschikken. Na afloop van de demonstratie beantwoordde Victor Keeven vragen die bij de fabrikanten spelen rondom BIM.

De staat van PIM-systemen in 2016
Veel fabrikanten hebben te maken met een groeiende vraag naar uitgebreide productdata. Ook voor bijvoorbeeld het generen van goede BIM-content is juiste productdata onmisbaar. Steeds meer fabrikanten gebruiken PIM- of ERP systemen voor het beheren van deze data. Dit brengt veel nieuwe uitdagingen met zich mee, onderzoeksbureau Qhuba MDM onderzocht de staat van PIM systemen onder fabrikanten, groothandels en retailers in 2016. Welke PIM-systemen worden gebruikt? Hoe wordt data verzameld en verspreid? Wat zijn de trends, ontwikkelingen en uitdagingen voor het komende jaar? Tijdens de meet-up presenteerden we kort de conclusies van het onderzoek.

Geautomatiseerd content genereren
Met de getoonde onderzoeksresultaten was het bruggetje naar het volgende agendapunt snel gemaakt: ketenintegratie. Steeds meer fabrikanten zien een verbeterde ketenintegratie dichterbij komen dankzij goed databeheer. Business Process Manager Marnix Leune presenteerde de Data2content webservices die MEPcontent aanbiedt voor het geautomatiseerd omzetten van productdata naar content. Dit brengt de fabrikant sneller en efficiënter bij de eindgebruiker.

MEPcontent ontwikkelingen
Ook de website MEPcontent.com is constant in ontwikkeling, Marnix Leune liet zien welke updates en nieuwe functionaliteit MEPcontent gaat introduceren.

De deelnemers waren enthousiast over de meet-up, ‘Het was een inspirerende ochtend, met de opgedane kennis kan ik BIM weer oppakken binnen onze organisatie’. ‘Een leerzame ochtend, elke meet-up hoor ik weer iets nieuws’, aldus een andere fabrikant.
