The Trox Air PLS has had a big update. The MSA and XSA series rectangular silencers have been replaced with their successors the XS and MS series. The more than 6.000 new articles are now available and can be used in Stabicad.

Please update your PLS files with care taking into consideration the impact on projects with articles that are now replaced or removed.

Introducing the new, easy to install air to water heat pump aroTHERM pure: The smallest and most light weighted outdoor unit in the Vaillant portfolio for efficient heating, cooling and DHW.
With a heating power of 4 to 10 kW and a COP of up to 5,2 (A7/W35) the aroTHERM pure offers an entry level heat pump with enormous potential. This new air to water heat pump is especially suited for:

- One and multiple family new built homes
- A distance of up to 40 m between indoor and outdoor unit
- Up to 30 m distance in height, therefore it is also possible to install in buildings of up to 8 floors
- Installation also possible in coast areas (after ISO-Norm 12944-6)

The aroTHERM pure pre-mounted indoor units are as small as a fridge and bring a compact solution for balcony and kitchen installation. With its small dimensions, low weight of only 55 and 82 kg and the split mounting system, transport has never been easier. The indoor unit uniTOWER pure brings better accessibility to all components as today for better service and repair from the front. Additional accessories can be integrated to fulfill customers’ requirements.

Protect the environment with currently one of the best refrigerants for split units: R32. This is one of the best alternatives for the new refrigerant split heat pumps as aroTHERM pure. It has a lower global warming potential than conventional refrigerants and is used in smaller amounts. For split refrigeration systems, R32 is the economical alternative to our natural refrigerant R290. The market launch will be in February 2023. The launch date may differ in some countries. BIM library

Priva Horticulture recently launched its BIM library on MEPcontent.com. This library contains BIM files of climate computers, measuring boxes, water systems and other hardware, among others. This comprehensive new escape route signalization and lighting line features a clever, modular design that is suitable for a range of applications including recessed and surface mounting, as well as walls and ceilings. In addition, the exit signage can switch from ceiling to wall mount, by simply changing the position of the electronics box 90 degrees.

The range provides better cable access and terminal connections for quick and easy installation, whilst offering a new track mounting option using a 3C interface for mounting to any type of track adapter available on the market, making it highly flexible and adaptable. The batteries are also simple to replace which reduces maintenance time.

For installations where there is a need to optimize the number of luminaires, ABB has developed a hybrid Movion® version, which combines escape route signalization and lighting into one product. The solution can be used to provide one lux as escape route lighting and five lux on safety equipment. For these specific applications, different lenses are available, and both are supplied with the product. On site, the lens can be rotated to adjust to the actual situation, or the escape route lighting lens can be replaced by the lens designed for illuminating safety equipment.

With Movion®, ABB delivers impressive lighting performance with escape route signalization that provides a bright and equal 500 cd/m2 distribution on the pictogram. The new lighting range also offers good spacing performances, with 16.5m at 3m ceiling height for escape routes and 8.5-10m by 8.5-10m at 3m ceiling height in open areas.

DINUY lanza al mercado su nuevo Catálogo digital BIM library compuesto por más de 50 productos para contribuir en el diseño de proyectos de construcción y arquitectura. Contenido BIM estandarizado

BIM (Building Information Modelling), un sistema de trabajo colaborativo a tiempo real, cuyo principal objetivo es la creación y gestión de un proyecto de construcción. Su objetivo es centralizar toda la información del proyecto en un modelo de información digital creado por todos sus agentes y permite agilizar el proceso de diseño de instalaciones de manera digital. Trimble and Valsir created a unique and innovative calculation feature for the Valsir Product Line Calculator App for Revit.

This free app is a plugin that enables MEP engineers worldwide to draw Valsir water supply and waste systems twice as fast, with up-to-date and localized Valsir content. The calculations functionality for wastewater systems is fully Revit integrated and EU compliant and reduces the chance of errors to a minimum with both design and calculation taking place in the App.

The Valsir Product Line Calculator for Revit enables MEP engineers to easily place Valsir specific 3D pipe and fitting designs into their Revit models directly from within the project environment. The content is up-to-date, light, and compact. The in-App optimizer functionality helps engineers change all fittings to their preferences with a single push of a button. This also includes flowing tees and bends. The integrated in-App content library, accessed via the MEPcontent browser, allows users to find additional, specific Valsir content for their projects, from inside the project environment.

5 product lines and 40 Valsir product groups

Content from Valsir® Triplus®, Valsir® Silere®, Valsir® PP3/PP, Valsir® Blackfire® and Valsir® HDPE product lines is included in the new calculations plugin.

Free to use in Revit

The Valsir Product Line Calculator App for Revit (Revit versions 2020, 2021, 2022) plugin can be downloaded for free from mepcontent.com. The app contains localized content that can be used worldwide. Valsir products are available all around the world. Supported languages for the plugin are English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Dutch and Russian.

In addition to the app, all of Valsir’s product lines are also available in Trimble’s European leading modeling and calculation software Stabicad and Nova. This enables engineers to work with hundreds of articles with extended information directly in their models.
